alt Albania

CPMA together with Police department under the Ministry of Interior from Lithuania as a junior partner and Hungarian National Police Headquarters- National Bureau of Investigation as leading partner have started to implement EU Twinning Project „Enhancement of the operational and logistical capacities of the Directorate of Witness and Special Persons Protection“ in Albania.
The Project objective is to assist the Albanian government in the fight against Organised Crime and Terrorism by strengthening the capacities and improving the legal framework, operational procedures and internal organisation for the protection of Justice Witnesses  and Justice Collaborators  within the bodies charged with proposing, assessing, approving and implementing the protection programme.  The main purpose-  to build long-term capacity at strategic and operational levels within the Albanian State Police Directorate for Witness Protection, the Office of the General Prosecutor, the Court and the Prison Service regarding the implementation of the new Law on Witness Protection. CPMA is responsible for financial-administrative management.

 

alt Macedonia

Central Project Management Agency (CPMA), together with the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania have successfully implemented the Twinning Light Project „Capacity Building for the management of EU Funds and IPA within the Central Financing and Contracting Department (CFCD) and the National Fund (NF)“ in Macedonia.
Тhe project's purpose was to help the Governmental institutions, namely the National Fund (NF), the National Authorising Officer (NAO) and the Central Financing and Contracting Department (CFCD) within the Ministry of Finance to manage EU funds according to internal control standards set out in the Accreditation Criteria (Annex I to IPA Implementing Regulation 718/2007) under the Decentralised Implementation System (DIS).
The European Commission provided for CPMA Extended Decentralised Implementation System (EDIS) accreditation on 30 of July 2004. Having EDIS mandate the CPMA is involved in implementation of other EU financing instruments (Structural funds) and special programmes (Schengen Facility, Kaliningrad transit, Ignalina Programme etc.).

CPMA  together with Austrian company „Hulla and Human Dynamics“ on July 2009 –  July 2011 implement EU Technical assistance project  „ Implementation of Twinning, TAIEX and SIGMA operations in Azerbaijan “.
This project is continuation of the previous EU Technical assistance project „Implementation of Twinning and TAIEX Operations in Azerbaijan“ which was implemented together with Belgian companies „East West Consulting“ and „European Consultants Organisation“.

CPMA and  National Paying Agency of Lithuania implemented Twinning Light project BG/2007/IB/AG/10/UE/TWL - ’Strengthening the administrative capacity of the Milk  
Sector of the Paying Agency of Bulgaria for efficient implementation of the Milk Quota Trading System’ The global objective of the project was effective implementation of the Milk Quota Trading System in Bulgaria to support the milk producers and to improve the business conditions in the milk sector. CPMA was responsible for financial-administrative management.
