The CPMA implemented the EU Technical Assistance to CPMA for implementation of  Structural Funds Administration Functions-2 project (0011).

The project ran from 1st January 2005 till 31 March 2007. The main objective of the project was to ensure management of EU Structural Funds (SFs) measures and effective and qualified performance of the administrative functions. During the project of ‘Technical Assistance to CPMA for implementation of Structural Funds (SFs) Administration Functions-2’ a team of specialists, whose functions are to manage Structural Funds, was formed and provided with necessary equipment and means to implement their functions. SFs financial management and control system was evaluated and improved in order to reach highest possible effectiveness. Clear, transparent and systematic monitoring of SFs project indicators, management of processes, project completion and further monitoring were developed. Working conditions for employees in charge with Structural Funds were created, i.e. they were provided with necessary equipment and qualification improvement possibilities (trainings, seminars, visits and etc.).
