The CPMA implemented the EU Technical Assistance to CPMA for implementation of  Structural Funds Administration Functions-3 project (0012).

The project with the budget of 1.856.592,57 EUR ran from 1st December 2006 till 31st December 2008. The main objective of the project to ensure management of EU Structural Funds (SFs) measures and effective and qualified performance of the administrative functions. The project was a continuation of the two previous projects ‘Technical Assistance to CPMA for implementation of Structural Funds Administration Functions 1 and 2’.  A team of specialists to manage Structural Funds was formed and provided with necessary equipment and means to implement their functions during the project implementation. SFs financial management and control system continuously improved in order to reach highest effectiveness. After the EU Commission confirmed activity programmes, implementation of the financial perspective 2007 -2013 has begun. Working conditions were created for employees in charge with Structural Funds, i.e. they were provided with necessary equipment and various qualification improvement possibilities through trainings, seminars, visits and etc. There were more than 970 people trained during the lifetime of the project.
