Also, the aim of the project is to strengthen the leading co-ordination role of the AFCOs Dept. at Financial Police and to enhance the analytical and investigative skills of the staff for prevention, detection and fight against fraud and irregularities.

Project purpose: The project purpose is further development of the capacities for crime scene investigation through establishment of a new organisational structure, establishing a quality system for conducting crime scene investigation, introducing new methods and standards for collection and transport of evidence from the crime scene and creating precognitions for accreditation of the Crime scene investigation units on regional and local level in accordance with the ISO 17020:2012 standard.
