EU Twinning projects
Twinning is a European Union (EU) instrument for institutional cooperation between Public Administrations of EU Member States and of beneficiary or partner countries.
Twinning projects promotes peer-to-peer cooperation of various public sector institutions.
In a such project, a Member State Public administrations have the first-hand opportunity to cooperate with their counterparts from Instrument for pre-accession assistance (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey) and European Neighbourhood Instrument (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) countries. Since 2020, Twinning instrument is piloted outside of IPA and ENI regions.
